The Samburu Reserve's Iconic Giraffes

The Samburu National Reserve is renowned for its population of reticulated giraffes, a subspecies distinguished by their beautiful coat patterns. With a population of around 33,000 individuals, these gentle giants are often seen in herds of up to 30 animals, grazing in the acacia woodlands and along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River.
